Every year, the average household throws away a shocking amount of food — usually just because we forget what's in the fridge. MyFrigo tracks your fridge, freezer, and pantry: everything gets an expiry date, you get alerted before things go off, and the AI suggests recipes based on what you already own — prioritizing what's about to expire. Snap a receipt or use voice to add items. The shopping list fills itself. Installs as a PWA, no app store. Free plan stays free.

The expiry alerts actually helped me catch some stuff before it went bad, which never happens with me. The recipe suggestions based on what's expiring first is a really nice touch.
@sultanbn41 Thanks Sultan, this genuinely makes my day. Catching stuff before it goes bad is the whole reason I built this — that "never happens with me" is exactly the moment I was chasing. And yeah, the recipes are deliberately not random: they sort by what's expiring first, so the app nudges you toward using up the milk before the pasta. Really appreciate you trying it.
The recipe suggestions are a really smart touch, love that it prioritizes what is about to expire. One thing that would help me personally is a shared household mode where my partner and I can both add items and check the fridge status from our own phones, otherwise we end up buying duplicates again.
@doanahraksyk Thanks Doğan, and great timing — a shared household mode is already the next big thing on my list, so it's reassuring to hear it from someone who'd actually use it, other than me. The "buying duplicates because you can't see the fridge from your own phone" problem is exactly what it's meant to kill. It ties into the plans too (the higher tiers are built around a whole household, not one person), so your use case is right in the target. Can't give you a date yet, but it's coming — I'll keep you posted here.
The recipe suggestions based on expiring items are genuinely useful, not just random picks. Setup took about a minute and the voice add worked surprisingly well.
@arifevrec Thank you Arife! "Genuinely useful, not just random picks" is the nicest thing you could say about the recipe engine — that was the hard part to get right. And I'm really glad the voice add worked for you; making input effortless (voice or a receipt photo) was the other thing I obsessed over. Thanks for taking the time on launch day.
Finally an app that actually nags me before the yogurt goes bad. The recipe suggestions from stuff I'd otherwise forget about are a nice touch.
@sat477669931529 Thanks Satı ! Funny you mention yogurt — the whole app basically exists because of a forgotten yogurt drawer situation I'm still not proud of. Happy it nags you at the right moment, that timing took a while to get right.
