Hi Product Hunt! I'm Jacky, the solo maker behind My Oshi Canvas. I've spent 12+ years working across games and creative projects, including game systems design and creating official StarCraft II tournament maps. When I started working on my own game, I needed a better way to explore character designs. Getting the character I had in mind out of an AI image tool wasn't as straightforward as I'd hoped. That led me to build a tool that starts with choices instead of prompts. With My Oshi Canvas, you choose four attributes to create an original anime-style character. From there, you can develop their profile, try different outfits, create illustrations, and turn their story into a visual novel. The focus is on developing the same character across these steps, rather than stopping at a single generated image. I'm building this for indie game makers, writers, and anyone who enjoys creating original characters. My goal is to make it easier to take the characters in your imagination and give them a look, a personality, and a story of their own.
