MXED allows you to quickly and easily sell officially licensed pop culture products within your Shopify store. The Shopify store selects and markets the product and Mxed takes care of the rest from production, logistics, and shipping. Your very own pop culture store is just a click away.
Hi Product Hunt I'm Yaw, cofounder of Hingeto & MXED. Our team has been working hard and are excited to share this with the Product Hunt community!
We wanted to give Shopify stores access to sell top quality product from US suppliers who ship in less than 3 business days.
We're excited to launch MXED where Shopify stores can sell official pop culture merchandise. It's an easy solution to sell products without inventory risk from your favorite movies, video games, and tv shows. Anything from Starwars, Harry Potter, Marvel, & Call of Duty.
We worked really hard to make this possible for US based stores before holiday 2017. Thanks for checking us out. We'd love to get your feedback and I'm happy to answer any questions!
@nyjetlife We prefer stores use their own site traffic sources to drive sales to their Shopify store but we can't stop you from selling on Amazon or other channels.
Brilliant idea to connect two sides of the market:
1. Shopify sellers that can't or don't want to go through the burden of obtaining licenses from popular brands such as Nintendo, Marvel, and WB.
2. Brands that want to increase their distribution and merchandise sales.
I am looking forward to learning more about this product and using it in our latest project.
Initially, I thought it would be a way for artists to create product designs that would be somehow licensed through your platform to be able to use Marvel IP, for example. I think if that's the long-term plan, it would be amazing for many designers and artists.
Right now there's lots of designs on sites like RedBubble, but they are not officially licensed.
I think the bigger problem is in getting the license to create the products. I can already buy, with pretty small minimum orders, from licensed manufacturers to sell on my store. However, I have found it to be pretty difficult to find these suppliers and manufacturers without being an industry insider and attending the tradeshows. If this can be a dropshipping solution that allows us to sell the products of several suppliers offering licensed products in different categories, this can be extremely valuable.
Which brands/manufacturers are on the platform currently? Is the plan to work with just a few brands/suppliers, or to open it up to as many as possible?
Congrats!
@ginoferrand Hey Gino - Create a Shopify store and install our app. You will find pretty large breadth of products from backpacks, tshirts, wallets, etc. The products come from multiple licensed partners where we handle all the complexities of minimums, shipping, and manufacturing, etc

Have been following @yawza and his team for a while as they have been working on this product and have been super impressed with the team. This is going to be huge, especially for the Facebook media buying entreprenuership community who rapidly test campaigns against generic dropshipped products. I have no doubt that volume will quickly be massive.
This is a really slick integration with Shopify that hides a huge amount of work behind the scenes! Congratulations to this team on another launch of a great idea combined with great execution.
@kwindla Thanks! Yea a lot behind the scenes in terms of manufacturing and logistics. We remove many of those hurdles where stores can focus on driving traffic and we will handle the rest.

My mom has a Shopify store, and she's been going in circles trying to find the right products. This will be HUGE for her.
Pros:Giving Shopify owners access to licensed products which are usually impossible to access
Cons:None that I can see so far
