Finally tried it on my M2 and the offline setup felt instant, no waiting on a login or syncing. Really liked how the interface gets out of the way so I can just think and write without another AI chiming in.

Yes, "just thinking, writing (or drawing) and arranging Slips" is truly the heart of MUTUM. I hope MUTUM helps deepen your thoughts even further!
A quiet local-first space sounds genuinely refreshing, and the macOS-only focus makes sense. One thing I'd love to see is a built-in way to export my reflections and notes in plain markdown or PDF, so I can keep a personal archive outside the app without losing the privacy-first promise.

PDF export is actually already supported! Just right-click a board on the left list, and you'll see the option. Give it a try!
Markdown export is a great idea—I hadn't thought of it. If we can also import Markdown, you could write your thoughts on any device and turn them into Slips in MUTUM. I'll add this to my list. Thanks!
Finally got a quiet corner to think on my Mac without the cloud nagging me. The local-only setup feels refreshing, especially knowing my drafts stay on my machine.

I totally agree. Modern tools have too many notifications and pop-ups right in the middle of the screen, which really breaks my focus. I made MUTUM so people can focus on thinking, writing on Slips, and arranging them without any stress—mostly because I get distracted easily myself! Hope you keep using MUTUM!
The choice to lean fully local on M-series Macs feels like a real statement of intent, not just a checkbox feature. Quietly running in the background, no telemetry dance, no login wall, just opening straight into a blank page, that kind of restraint is rare these days.
