Hey Product Hunt, I've taken a lot of political compass quizzes. They all end the same way: a dot in a colored square, and no reason to ever look at it again. MPTI borrows the part of MBTI that actually travels. Four axes, four letters, one of 16 types with a name you can drop in a group chat. Economy: Equality or Market Diplomacy: World or Nation Civil: Liberty or Authority Society: Progress or Tradition Three decisions that shaped the build: No accounts, no stored answers. Scoring happens entirely in your browser. The server only increments anonymous counters, so there is no row anywhere that says what any one person answered. Political views are sensitive data and I would rather not be holding any. No parties, no politicians, ever. Your result never gets matched to a real party or candidate in any country. You get two historical figures per type instead, as a conversation starter rather than a verdict. Built for 14 languages from the start, not translated at the end. Writing 40 questions that read as neutral in Korean, German, Thai and Portuguese at the same time was by far the hardest part. My early drafts kept smuggling a "correct" answer into the wording. It is free, there is nothing to sign up for, and it takes about 5 minutes. Tell me your four letters, and more usefully, tell me where the result felt wrong. Every result page has a one-tap "spot on / about half / not really" and I watch those counters closely.
