After trying support ticket systems, email, a Wordpress "client portal plugin," Asana, Coordinate and a couple more, we were sold on Motion.io within the first five minutes of creating a trial account.
LAYOUT - The layout is clean and user friendly. Thought has been given to every step of the way because the team at Motion.io has experience on both sides of the street - they've built websites before and understand the struggles of getting content from clients and managing projects.
CUSTOMER SERVICE - They run their business like we run ours; customer interaction. How many times have you tried to reach out to a software or plugin support team only to receive an automated, very delayed response? It's frustrating, right? We had some minor questions and the team at Motion.io responded within a few minutes, which led to a Zoom call. Motion.io is hands down the best client portal we've used - and we've tried a lot! You can tell it was made by someone with a direct need instead of just throwing together some fancy features.
The UI is clean and simple and the fact that we don't have to have our clients remember passwords is huge!
One of my favorite features is the ability to get direct design feedback on assets from clients directly within the portal. Before Motion, we had gone back and forth with a client on feedback over email and calls for weeks. We popped it into Motion and got exactly what we needed in a matter of minutes.

We've been looking for something like Motion for years! Sure there are enterprise-grade solutions out there, but none were a fit for SMBs. We have a pretty robust onboarding and implementation process and our customer success team could not be happier with Motion. Makes it really easy to outline all the tasks needed to get the job done. Our customers enjoy using it quite a bit, especially being able to comment on individual tasks and keep track of what needs to get done.
Also, these guys are moving fast on their software, making tons of changes and improvements all the time. Motion is highly recommended.

Really excited to see that you're adding the project management function aspects into the software. When I originally searched for an onboarding software that was robust enough for our needs, we passed on Motion.io because of this absence. We haven't yet signed on with another software because comparable solutions are just too expensive. (cough, guidecx) If this PM feature works, we'll be onboarding shortly.

Our latest product update (which we just published release notes for today: https://motion.io/april-2024-rel...) introduces internal team tasks. Using this new functionality, you can create and assign tasks to team members that communicate to clients what your team is working on and when they can expect it.
That said, this is just the start of more robust project management functionality we'll be building in the coming weeks/months.
