If you go in your iphone's accessibility settings, enable zoom (set it at its lowest) and play with the brightness settings in there you can achieve the same result on every app. Then simply use three fingers and double tap on the screen to reset the zoom and you will be back in unzoomed normal iphone mode with the added extra low brightness still enabled #themoreyouknow
