Most mood-tracking apps are either generic or data-overloaded. Daylio is versatile but not bipolar-specific. eMoods targets bipolar yet demands daily multi-point ratings—burdensome on bad days. MoodTrend: two sliders, ten seconds. Designed by a developer with bipolar, prioritizing continuity on tough days. Share your chart with family in-app, and export as PDF for doctor visits. Not more data, but finding your rhythm through subtractive design.

Hello Product Hunt community! I'm Midori, the solo developer of MoodTrend.
Living with bipolar disorder is never easy. Over the years I've tried countless mood tracking apps, but they were all too much hassle. Endless journals, symptom ratings, activity logs... on bad days just opening the app was a struggle.
So I built MoodTrend first for myself.
It's all about ultimate simplicity. Two sliders, ten seconds a day. No journals or quizzes. The hardest days, when tracking matters most, are when your energy is lowest.
What sets MoodTrend apart from Daylio or eMoods?
One smooth waveform graph for your mood. Spot patterns over weeks, months, or a whole year at a glance.
Log planned activities with your mood. Uncover your personal rhythm of energy and mental state.
Share your graph with trusted family or friends so they can watch over your wellbeing.
Integrates with Apple Health and Health Connect. Overlay steps and sleep data on your mood graph, no manual input needed. See the mind-body connection clearly.
Export to PDF or Excel. Share solid data with your doctor, not fuzzy memories.
Add a one-line note for standout events if you want. No pressure to log every day.
Syncs seamlessly across devices with Google sign-in.
Supports English, Japanese, French, and Chinese. Premium is $4.99/month or $39.99/year.
I'd love your input on three points.
Global expansion: It started in Japan and now we're going worldwide. How can I tweak it for users in your country or culture?
Dream feature: What's that one thing that would make your perfect mood tracker app complete?
Pricing feedback: Does $4.99/month (or $39.99/year) feel right? Too much, too little? Be honest!
One big lesson from building this app is that mental health tools should ease the burden, not add to it. I hope MoodTrend helps someone find balance in their mind. 🙏
Finally, be aware that this app is not a substitute for professional medical care.
