A true Monster Hunter game. Easy to play but hard to master. Chock full of innovations like the AR camera and gyro in battles.

Hello everyone!! I'm Archit, Sr. Director of Product Marketing and Niantic and I'm super excited that we have released Monster Hunter Now worldwide. It's incredible to see player reactions from across the world and we're pumped to get this in front of product HUNTERS. :). Monster Hunter Now is the perfect combination of Niantic’s philosophy of exploring the world and the sheer fun of hunting and battling monsters together. Our Tokyo studio has been working hard in partnership with Capcom on this product for the last 4+ years -- there's been incredible thought and care to ensure that this game is a well-crafted adaptation of the mainline Monster Hunter series where you FEEL like a real Hunter as you explore your neighborhood or town. The feel of the weapons -- from the Great Swords heaviness to the nimbleness of a Sword and Shield -- has been meticulously designed. And this game uses our underlying Lightship platform technology to enable location-based gameplay and AR features wherein you can see majestic monsters in the physical world. Please give this a whirl and let us know what you all think! The Hunt starts now, Archit

the game looks very good from the videos I saw on YouTube. I hope the multiplayer aspect is more taken into consideration. (I have no idea about the game mechanics and features as of yet just watched a few videos on YouTube) I like to see a game where having friends or a co-op aspect makes a difference. coming across monsters that you cannot beat unless you are multi-hunters attacking them. dying would actually kill you so either you wait 24 hours or have a friend revive you (prefer if it is a nearby friend but at a distance can work too but only one revive per week then). and maybe bring a feature for when if different types of hunters or at least weapons are in an area a specific monster would appear. (so the goal is to find friends in different hunter classes or weapons (whichever is related to this game) to spawn a rare monster). then there could be all sorts of leveling features where you would need another player's intervention to complete. I could keep going :)

I love this game. The developers seem like they have the perfect attitude towards their work and I hope that one day I'll be on a team just like theirs.
