I built this because I kept noticing something weird.
Everyone says they’re “good with money.” High earners. Smart people. Analytical people. But when you put real tradeoffs in front of them (debt vs liquidity, insurance vs investing, optionality vs optimization) the answers get messy fast.
I didn’t want another budgeting app. I wanted to see how people actually think when there isn’t a calculator in front of them.
So I started building daily decision challenges where you rank options from best to worst. No spreadsheets. No hindsight. Just judgment.
What surprised me wasn’t that people got things wrong. It was how they got them wrong:
Income changed confidence more than it changed reasoning.
People’s stated risk tolerance didn’t match their actual decisions.
“Safe” choices often hid bigger long-term risk.
Originally this was just an experiment. I wanted data. Patterns. Blind spots.
But as I kept building, it evolved into something bigger:
-Risk tracking over time
-Percentile comparisons
-Category breakdowns (insurance, debt, investing, etc.)
-Behavioral signals instead of just “right/wrong”
The goal isn’t to shame people or grade them harshly.
It’s to surface blind spots before they get expensive.
Most financial mistakes don’t happen because someone is reckless.
They happen because something felt reasonable in the moment.
That’s what I’m trying to measure.
