MoltShell

Home for your CLI Agents, managed from your phone

Your phone is now a dev machine. MoltShell gives you an instant cloud sandbox that persists between sessions, so your files, packages, and environment are there when you come back. Works with any AI coding agent: Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, whatever's next. Live preview links, mobile-first terminal, no SSH or VPS setup. Kick off a task on the train, check back at lunch. Just code. moltshell.sh is currently in limited beta. Onboarding first 20 users for free.

Hey! I'm Ali, student and researcher at Columbia.

I've been coding with AI agents a lot lately and noticed something: I barely write code myself anymore. I just navigate the agents. So I thought, why do I even need a laptop for this? Why can't I do it from my phone?

There are options out there now for mobile coding, but they either reset your environment every session or lock you into one specific agent. I wanted something where my files, packages, and setup are all still there when I come back tomorrow. And something that works with whatever agent I feel like using, whether that's Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, or whatever drops next week.

I actually started way more ambitious, building a voice AI wrapper with a file manager, multi-user auth, all of it. Weeks of work. Then I realized the real problem was way simpler. So I stripped everything down and built MoltShell. Persistent cloud sandbox, mobile-first terminal, and live preview links so you can actually see what you're building in real time. Run your agent, close the app, come back later, everything is exactly where you left it.
Built this for the vibecoding community. Would love to hear how you'd use it and what features matter most to you!
