Most tools focus on problems (LeetCode) or unstructured peer mocks. Mockrounds focuses on interview performance. It’s a voice-first AI interviewer that listens, asks dynamic follow-ups based on your answers and whiteboard, and pushes you like a real senior engineer. You get FAANG-style evaluation plus a spoken debrief and written report. The goal isn’t practice questions — it’s practicing how you think, communicate, and perform under real interview pressure.

Hey Product Hunt,
Mockrounds is the AI interviewer I wish I had when preparing for FAANG interviews.
When I was prepping, I realized something: solving problems wasn’t the hard part — performing in the interview was.
You can grind LeetCode and understand system design concepts, but when you’re asked to explain your thinking under pressure, structure your answer, and handle follow-ups in real time — it’s a completely different skill.
I tried mock interviews with coaches. They were helpful, but at $150–300 per session, it’s not something you can do consistently. Most people end up doing 2–3 sessions before a big interview — which is nowhere near enough.
There are free mock interview platforms too, but they often lack seriousness, structure, and actionable feedback.
That’s the gap I wanted to solve.
So I built an AI interviewer that behaves like a real senior engineer in an interview — it listens to you, watches your whiteboard, asks follow-up questions based on what you actually said, and evaluates you the way Amazon and Meta interviews do.
Each session is designed to feel like a real round:
* a 30-minute mock with a voice AI interviewer (not a chatbot)
* a live whiteboard or code editor depending on the round
* real-time follow-ups based on your answers and drawings
* a detailed written report with FAANG-style scoring
* and a spoken debrief at the end — what worked, what to fix
Right now, it supports System Design, DSA, and Behavioural rounds.
Pricing was something I thought a lot about. I didn’t want subscriptions — you shouldn’t be paying when you’re not interviewing. So I kept it simple:
* $19 for 1 session
* $39 for 3 sessions
* $59 for 5 sessions
Sessions never expire, and there’s a full money-back guarantee on your first one.
I built this because I’ve seen strong candidates fail — not because they didn’t know the material, but because they hadn’t practiced communicating it clearly under pressure.
The depth was there. The performance wasn’t.
There’s also a free 5-minute preview if you want to try the AI before paying anything.
If you’re preparing for interviews, I’d really value your feedback — what feels real, what doesn’t, and what would make this 10x better.
