This is our second Mockin launch on Product Hunt, and here's what we've managed to build over the past 7 months:

1. We've improved our Screening Interview. Now you can practice based on your professional level: junior, middle, senior, or lead.

2. We added Assessment Interview, which evaluates your current level and suggests what roles you might be ready for.

3. We introduced the One Question Interview. This unique question bank contains 200+ questions that MAANG companies actually ask during screening interviews. We've organized these by categories: Experience, Motivation, Design Thinking, Collaboration, Design Thinking & Research, Feedback & Conflict Solving, and Leadership.

But that's not all

4. We added Resume Checker, which analyzes your resume and suggests improvements while making it ATS-friendly.


5. We built Resume Matcher, which personalizes your resume for specific job postings.


6. We completely redesigned the interview experience with our AI-HR - now it's even more calming and focused.

Oh, and I almost forgot. Over 1,300 designers have already prepared for interviews using Mockin.

The improvements in Mockin sound fantastic! 🎉 I'm particularly intrigued by the One Question Interview feature with its 200+ MAANG questions. How frequently do you update the question bank to ensure it stays relevant to current industry trends? 🤔

@jaredl hi and thank you for the comment! We constantly keep our questions up to date. Our goal is to ensure not only that they reflect the latest industry requirements, but also that the interview process is seamless — with questions asked in a logical sequence and taking previous answers into account

@jaredl  thank you for your question! Right now, our question bank is focused on the first part of interviews — the screening interview. And as Andrey mentioned, we're constantly expanding it. For example, we'll soon be adding questions related to using AI in design work.

We're also working on Whiteboard Interview training, since that's one of the most stressful parts of the interview process.

@reepush I like your perspective. But I'd look at this as a new stage of evolution. For example, according to a McKinsey report, the trend of AI integration into work processes will only increase. And we need to be ready for that.

My opinion is that denying AI as a tool is pointless. But completely relying on it isn't worth it either. Balance is important in everything.

Uuuuu, this could help to be onboarded. I remember how @Teammates.ai launched Sara – that revises interviews (and selects applicants). Pretty curious how it can handle applicants that are being prepared by AI models.

@busmark_w_nika, thank you! We're now actively talking with HR from different companies and understanding how our product can help B2B.
For example, Mockin can help HR managers improve candidate quality by implementing pre-screening interviews and reducing time-to-hire.

@busmark_w_nika I wasn't talking about big companies 🙂 We're talking with small companies/startups that have a high volume of candidate applications, primarily for Middle, Junior, and Senior positions.

@joey_zhu_seopage_ai hi Joey! We actually started from there. Originally Mockin offered interviews for all IT specialists, but we decided to focus on one segment to dig into the problem deliver an outstanding experience. Opening simulator for other roles is on our radar
