I'm Pablo — I've played guitar in punk bands for over 30 years, and about 6 years ago I went to audio school to learn mixing and mastering. I run Sonic Rebel Studio out of Buenos Aires, and in 2023 I mixed and mastered my own band's album there, start to finish.
That record is what convinced me to take mixing seriously as a business. What I wasn't ready for was how much time I'd lose just finding artists to work with — hours scrolling Spotify's related-artists tab and Instagram, DMing people with basically no idea if they were even a fit, tracking everything in a Notes app that stopped working around client #6.
