Hi Hunters! I'm Wout-Jan, the friendly face behind this project 😑. I’m so excited to introduce MissionMapper - the personal mission statement writing assistant. “Personal Mission Statement: A declaration of your purpose and path in life, highlighting what is truly important to you. It describes your core values, expectations, and commitments to others. It serves as a navigation tool, helping you make decisions and stay focused on your long-term goals and personal growth.” In 2020, just before our son was born, I wrote down the first version of my personal mission statement. I wasn’t expecting it to make such a big impact, but it has been incredibly helpful in guiding me through both significant and everyday decisions. Revisiting and refining my own mission statement has proven to be a valuable asset, and sharing it with those around me has helped them define their life purpose. Witnessing the positive impact it had on both myself and others inspired the creation of MissionMapper—to support others in finding their own direction. I personally believe that everyone can benefit from having a personal mission statement. A personal mission statement helps you stay focused and make important life decisions. It helps you answer the question: 'What do I want to look back on when I'm 65?' Stephen Covey “Your mission statement becomes your constitution, the solid expression of your vision and values. That's an interesting idea! I can totally see that having a mission statement, that really aligns with your own values makes it much easier to make the right decisions regarding work, hobbies, relationships etc.
