@heynaitik and I collaborated for the first time as two indie makers to scratch our own itch.
Well, indie hacking means spending a lot of time on social media talking about stuff we are tinkering with.
We would end up spending more time than we would have liked to on social media.
Why?
Too many distractions on our feeds.
We installed Minimal Twitter to cut back the clutter on Twitter, but LinkedIn was still a mess.

@chrismessina@heynaitik@mohitmamoria big thanks to both of you! While I'm not a massive LinkedIn user myself, I absolutely get the pain of getting distracted by the endless stream and clutter when I do log in. How do you plan to adapt your theme with LinkedIn’s constant UI and feature updates?

@mohitmamoria and I got together earlier this year to build/hack on a small project just to enjoy the process of building. We ended up creating something over a weekend to solve our own problem — there are plenty of extensions to make browsing Twitter, YouTube, FB, etc more pleasant, but nothing similar existed for our Linkedin experience.
We've organically had users using and enjoying the Chrome extension, so we decided to launch it on PH for 100% free as a small gift from the indie community.
We hope you give Minimal Theme for Linkedin a try, and would love to hear any feedback you have on it. Try it today and there's a very high chance you'll likely never go back to using Linkedin without this extension :)

I've been using a similar extension for Twitter and wanted something similar for LinkedIn. Then I stumbled over this one. Now, I've enough white space to screenshot posts and write notes on the empty area. I'm loving it so far!
OK, THIS IS AMAZING. Just tried it myself. Now we just need you to create an extension that removes all the "cringeworthy" posts from the Linkedin feed 😂 Good luck with your launch today! You really deserve to win.
