Copy any website’s design, code, and assets in one click. MimicKit captures real CSS and converts it to Tailwind, extracts colors, fonts, spacing, SVGs, images, and complete design systems—ready to paste into Cursor, Claude, v0, or your own codebase. For designers and developers who want to copy what works, customize it, and ship faster.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built MimicKit because copying a great website design is still much harder than it should be.
The usual workflow looks like this:
1. Take screenshots
2. Inspect dozens of elements in DevTools
3. Manually collect colors, fonts, spacing, and assets
4. Ask Cursor or Claude to recreate everything
5. Fix all the details it guessed incorrectly
MimicKit turns that process into one click.
Open any website and copy its:
→ CSS or Tailwind
→ Complete design system
→ Colors, fonts, spacing, radii, and shadows
→ SVGs and original-quality images
→ Components and page sections
→ Ready-to-paste AI prompt
You can paste the result directly into Cursor, Claude, v0, Lovable, or your own codebase.
It’s not screenshot-to-code. MimicKit gives you the real styles and assets behind the page, so you start from accurate source values instead of visual guesses.
There’s a free plan, plus a 3-day Pro trial with no credit card.
I’d love to know:
1. Which website would you try copying first?
2. Which export format would be most useful for you?
3. What should MimicKit copy next?
Thanks for checking it out. I’ll be here all day answering questions and collecting feedback.

Tailwind conversion from real CSS is way more useful than I expected, saves me from eyeballing spacing and hex codes. The asset extraction caught some SVGs I would have totally missed.

@socialme "eyeballing spacing and hex codes" should be on my landing page — that approximation gap is where 90% of "does this look right?" Cursor prompts fail.
The SVG catch is because it digs into CSS background-image and mask-image on top of inline SVGs — that's where most extractors miss them. Which site were you extracting from?

The idea of converting real CSS straight into clean Tailwind is such a thoughtful detail, saves a ton of cleanup work downstream.

@emmanuelmacron Thanks — that "cleanup work downstream" was the whole reason I built it. AI tools handle Tailwind → CSS trivially but choke going the other way.
What's the last component you had to hand-convert?
