As someone who actually produces music, I'd type an idea, get back a polished MP3... and then have nothing to actually do with it. No stems, no notes, nothing I could open in my DAW. It was a dead end dressed up as a finished product. So midichat solves the problem I actually had: type a prompt, get back a real, editable MIDI pattern — actual notes on a piano roll, not a locked audio file. Drop it into Ableton, FL Studio, Logic, whatever you use, and treat it like any other MIDI clip: a starting point you can shape, not a "finished song" you're stuck with. Pro plan also has an in-app piano roll editor, so you can tweak the pattern before you even export it. Free tier is 5 generations a day, no card required.
