Hey Hunters! I'm excited to share MicroWidgets with you today. As a developer, I created this tool to solve a problem I faced daily: keeping my websites up-to-date without constant manual interventions. I was tired of logging into my sites to update GitHub activity, customer counts, and version numbers. Each update meant changing code, redeploying, and potential downtime. It was time-consuming and pulled me away from actual development work. MicroWidgets was born out of this frustration. Now, I can add auto-updating widgets to my sites in minutes. My GitHub activity, customer numbers, and status info stay current without me lifting a finger. It's saved me hours each week and eliminated those embarrassing moments when I realized my site was showing outdated info. I use MicroWidgets on all my projects now. It's allowed me to focus on building features rather than maintaining site content. I hope it can do the same for you. I'd love to hear your thoughts and answer any questions. What parts of your website do you find most tedious to keep updated?
Devang Sachdev
@mplacona congrats - super useful
Marcos Placona
@devang_sachdev1 Thank you so much, Devang!
Andriy Semenets
Congratulations on the launch! Is there an option to add custom variables or widgets? Thanks.
Marcos Placona
@semanser Heya! You can add custom variables to the Stripe widget via templating. What sort of variables would you be looking to add? I'm atill actively building this so could be a feature I add if I don't already support it.

Wow, this sounds like a game changer! I totally get the struggle of keeping everything updated manually. MicroWidgets seems like just what we need to streamline our workflows! Can't wait to try it out and save some time for actual coding. Do you have any tips for first-time users? @mplacona
Marcos Placona
@blankwebdev thank you! It’s well documented, but basically all you need to do is add the script to your page and configure your widgets on the dashboard and micro widgets does the rest
Kathalityy
Excited to test this out when I publish my first site.
Marcos Placona
@kathalityy Awesome! Make sure you get it today as I'm offering lifetime usage for the launch. It'll go on subscription after that for other users.
PL Bompard
