I built Metrivant because most competitive intelligence tools are too manual, too noisy, or too expensive. Metrivant takes a different approach: it detects real competitor changes first, then uses AI to explain what those changes mean. Detection is deterministic. AI is layered on top for interpretation. Metrivant tracks pricing, product, hiring, investor, procurement, regulatory, newsroom, and ambient market activity, then surfaces everything through a live radar, alerts, and weekly briefs.
Hey Product Hunt,
I built Metrivant because most competitive intelligence still feels broken in one
of two ways:
1. it’s manual, which means someone is always piecing together updates from
competitor sites, feeds, and scattered notes
2. it’s automated, but too noisy or too vague to trust when something important
actually changes
Metrivant is my attempt to solve that properly.
It continuously monitors competitor websites and feeds, detects real changes, turns
those changes into signals, groups them into strategic movement, and shows the
whole market on a live radar.
The part I care about most is this:
the detection layer is not a black box.
The system first figures out what changed in a deterministic way, then uses AI only
to help interpret why the change matters. That was an important line for me. I
didn’t want to build another tool that generates polished-sounding summaries
without solid evidence underneath.
Today, Metrivant helps track things like:
- pricing changes
- product launches and updates
- hiring momentum
- investor and regulatory activity
- broader movement across a sector
The goal is simple: help founders and teams see competitor movement early, before
it becomes obvious in the market.
I’m launching now because it finally feels like a real product rather than an
internal experiment. There’s still a lot I want to improve, but the core loop is
working: detect, interpret, surface, and keep the signal-to-noise ratio high.
If you check it out, I’d especially love feedback on:
- whether the radar view makes sense quickly
- which signals you’d actually want to monitor
- whether you’d use this more for direct competitors or whole-market tracking
