Hey Product Hunt community! 👋
I built meoldy because I was tired of having songs stuck in my head and completely failing to find them on Google. Standard search engines give you thousands of chaotic, ad-filled lyric pages, but they rarely solve the mystery when your memory is blurry.
I wanted a simple 'one-click' tool to fix this. So, I connected Gemini's AI capabilities with the Genius database to curate an experience that takes your vague memories and gives you the exact track, complete with Spotify and YouTube links.
The interface is currently in Spanish, but the AI is fully capable of understanding English prompts too!
I’d love to get your feedback, hear your thoughts, and know if it successfully finds that song you’ve been trying to remember for weeks.
Thanks for checking it out! 🎵

Love this. You said it’s Gemini plus Genius, and Genius skews pretty English, so how does it hold up on non-English songs? If I only remember bits of an Icelandic or German song, can it still find it?
Really fun concept!

@lucency Great question! Since I'm using AI, it’s quite good at understanding multiple languages. It definitely doesn't limit itself to English! You can absolutely try searching for those Icelandic or German lyrics. Give it a shot and let me know if it finds them!

How well does the AI actually handle humming or just lyrics? And is the Spotify link deep enough to start playing the song right away or does it just open the app?

@tuncay83380 Thanks for the technical curiosity! Right now, the AI is optimized for semantic search through lyrics rather than audio/humming analysis. As for the Spotify/YouTube links, they open the app but search for the song so yu only need to select it.

The Spanish interface actually adds a nice little puzzle element, like your memory of the song isn't the only fuzzy thing you're working with. Love that it nails those half-remembered lyrics through the AI though, that's a seriously tough technical problem solved well.

@evval588200 I love that perspective! Fuzzy memory is exactly what I was trying to solve. Glad to hear the AI is handling those half-remembered lyrics well. Thanks for the kind words
