Love the landing page! A keyboard shortcut to open the window would be awesome 🤞
hzlzh
@alexdbauer nice idea, will add next update.

@alexdbauer Keyboard shortcut already supported in v1.2.4

I'm a fan of tiny, simple menubar apps. Nice job, @hzlzh. 👍🏼

I really like it - congratulations :) Can it support the presentation of notifications from web apps like WhatsApp?
hzlzh
@ivo_daniel1 good idea, added into my feature list~
Jinyu Meng
@ivo_daniel1 It won't be an easy one. But we will give it a try.
Nate Dame
Love it! ALMOST perfect - can you make it so a "tab" runs in the background? Playing music via a menubar tab stops if you close :(
hzlzh
@nate_dame You can Pin window and resize it into a very small one, or you can use Option + X as a keyboard shortcut to toggle the window.
Nate Dame
@hzlzh Amazing! That did it - thank you so much! IMO if this ability to "keep it open even after you navigate away" was easier to get to or easier to accomplish, may help enablement - at least it sure would have helped me :) Keep it up!!
hzlzh
@nate_dame pls update to 1.2.7, we have fixed to support music background playing like Youtube Music
Nate Dame
Hi again! A couple things: - If I click away from a MenubarX window, it doesn't close. The only way to close it is by clicking the icon in the top menu. Would be nicer just to be able to click away to close it :) - Why only provide widths and heights as per popular phones? Being able to drag bigger/smaller would make day-to-day use easier. Oh and BTW I couldn't remember the name of the app (sorry, that's on me) and I couldn't find it anywhere even in Preferences! Finally stumbled on it in the "Pro" section of preferences. Just a thought :)
hzlzh
@nate_dame Thank you for those feedbacks. Please make sure you have MenubarX version 1.2.5+. - Now you can toggle MenubarX by `Option + X` and hide window by `CMD + W / H / M` - Also you can drag the window to resize it now. Check this https://menubarx.app/faq/ About the name, you can find it in dropdown menu and `About Page`.
Nate Dame
@hzlzh Thank you! I do have version 1.2.5. It still would be helpful to be able to click away from the MenubarX window and have it close IMO. And to have fully customizable widths/heights, not just a preset list of possibilities. And thanks I found the name, just wanted you to know it was hard to find. Hard to share with friends if I can't remember or easily find the name :) :)
hzlzh
@nate_dame v1.2.7 released. You can use keyboard shortcut like `OPTION+X` to toggle window, and `CMD+H` `CMD+M` to hide/close it. We have support window resize from right bottom of the location bar. You can share MenubarX to your friend by send official Homepage MenubarX.app - A powerful menu bar browser.
Nate Dame
@hzlzh Hurray custom resizing! Although consider allowing resizing from any edge of the window (just like regular windows). It gets clunky just being able to adjust only from bottom right (for example, can only make it so wide before my cursor hits the edge of my screen), plus I never would have found that on my own!! Just a thought. Keep it up this is shaping up to be pretty awesome!!
Nate Dame
@hzlzh I don't do much on Twitter but definitely shared it!!! https://twitter.com/seonate/stat...
Popeye
Http request header
hzlzh
@popeye `HTTPS` is needed because of App Store submit issues, I will find some other way to solve it next version.
Jinyu Meng
@popeye Sorry for that. It might be impossible for an App Store app. And we still don't have a plan to release this app outside App Sore.
Popeye
@hzlzh I mean customize request headers.
