Existing meeting assistants focus mainly on recording and note-taking, but I wanted something that could actually help during the conversation. Mentora listens to meetings in real time, transcribes conversations, understands screenshots, and generates profile-aware responses based on your background and experience. A major focus was reducing response latency so users can get assistance instantly without interrupting the flow of the conversation. Building the desktop app across Windows and macOS, handling real-time audio processing, and creating a seamless user experience were some of the biggest challenges.
