Hey ProductHunt Community! 👋 Excited to introduce Memoru, a passion project born out of love for seamless language learning. 🚀 Would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and suggestions! What features would you like to see in the next update? Let's make Memoru even better together. Thanks for checking us out! 🌐📚
@schmidoo Hi Oliver. Upvoted. Do you have an X account we can promote it, if yes, connect with us and will promote it. all social handles in profile.

@schmidoo hi 😊 you create amazing technology! We create a general space with Web apps, with helps founders get their apps in front of new users. I would like to invite you to add your app there 🎉
Oliver
Thanks @patrycja_roszczyk! We're delighted to be invited to feature our app in your space. We'd like to know more about the general space you've created. Could you please give us more details about this space and how it works? We're interested in exploring this opportunity further.

@schmidoo of course! As I mentioned, we created own store with apps, which generates around 3k unique views per month, what is an amazing chance to get your app in front of new users eager to try new technologies. What’s more — thanks to the Web OS technology, users can add chosen apps to the homepage, what increases the generated traffic several times over. We are also building a community of founders like you, who can be both great customers and amazing business partners. And last but not least — each app published by developer, who joined us is mentioned subtly in every newsletter we send to our subscribers. As for the formal details — to get access to all of the functionalities you have to purchase a membership, which costs $5.99 per month and let you get around the platform freely. We at Services also develop a proprietary solution — a system of Open Access to Web apps. As the name suggests — Open Access gives open access to growing number of apps available on the internet. You just use one account — the Services one, and without the need to put any credentials, you get access to external apps like https://t.co/WqcgNaa6bK, which is one of the apps available within the system. You can learn more about the technology under https://t.co/4yyaI7BHg9 and try it out after signing up under https://t.co/blJha71Djc. We have around 3k views per month, so it's a great chance for you to get your app in front of new users. Here is the direct link, where you can submit your app: https://t.co/jVzPtMWOJ8 If you have any questions, ask! 😊

This will be really great. my main concern when I see great products is how they will capture value after delivering value. what's the business model?
Dominik
Hi @mark_worship! Thank you a lot! For the time being, our service will be free of charge. We will first see if and how the app is used. If in the future there is a desire for certain features that are costly for us to implement or infrastructure, it is quite conceivable to reserve some features for premium users.
Igwe Praise
@wrflsckr Okay, I get but I have an idea. If you plan to charge for your service at any point then you will have to charge now (as soon as possible). you really do not validate an idea with it being free. Validating an idea also boils down to; knowing if and how willing people are to pay for your service. only if you plan to use the ". business model" Also, you will get reliable feedback and user feedback when they pay for it (when you create a clear business model) or when money has to be made off them (through advertisement). I hope you get it.
Dominik
@mark_worship Thank you for the input!

@schmidoo Hey Memoru team! 🚀 Your flashcard app sounds like a game-changer for mastering subjects! 📚✨ Curious to know, how does Memoru leverage community-driven support to enhance the learning experience?
Dominik
Hi @aashish_peepra, I'm Dominik the co-founder of Memoru. The community feature will be added in a future update and will allow our users to share their decks with other users. It also allows users to make their own version of publicly available decks. To reinforce this community approach, we will also add the functionality to import existing decks from other platforms as well.

Hey Oliver! 👋 Congrats on launching Memoru, it sounds like a fantastic passion project! 🚀 I'm curious, what inspired you to create a seamless language learning app? Also, have you thought about incorporating any gamification elements into the app to make it more interactive? Keep up the great work! 🌐📚
Dominik
Hello @goyashy. Thank you very much! We were inspired to do this because we were not completely satisfied with other providers. We wanted to create a simple, beautiful app, without ads and unnecessary extra features. Regarding gamification. We are discussing whether we should introduce gamification or not. At the moment we are still undecided because the quiz function is already somewhat game-like. We are sure that if the gamification will come, it should be possible to deactivate it in the settings.

I really like the concept of Memoru flashcards! It seems like a great tool to enhance learning. One suggestion I have is to incorporate gamification elements to make studying even more engaging. For example, adding a point system or rewards for completing quizzes or achieving certain milestones. This could help motivate users to consistently use the app and make studying feel more like a fun game. Overall, great job on creating a valuable study tool!
Oliver
Thank you for your comment @dmytrosem! We are also considering incorporating gamification, but it is not a priority at the moment.

Congratulations on your launch! This is a perfect app for my kids.
