Can AI Help Memorize New Vocabulary? Who among us doesn't know the challenge of learning foreign languages and how much time is devoted to the most crucial part - memorizing new words? What really matters? Regular repetition of new vocabulary. Ideally, not just once a day... But is it feasible for someone living a busy life filled with tasks, business, and events? Hardly. How often have words, jotted down in a notebook and left by the bed in hopes of "I'll review before sleep," remained forgotten? "This app is my last chance," I thought and created it for myself. It's simple: on one side of a virtual card, you write the foreign word, and on the other side, its translation. Organize these cards by themes, lessons, however you want. The app will remind you when it's time to review, with intervals based on scientific research on memorization effectiveness. I studied the Ebbinghaus forgetting curve and the nuances of repetition systems. Research also emphasizes the importance of the associative method of memorization: when you see a new word, create the most unusual association that will make it easy to recall. With this approach, as scientists claim, you can learn up to 100-150 words a day! I checked, and the scientists weren't lying)) But after the twentieth word, imagination starts to fade, and I turned to GPT chat for help. It created mnemonic images. The result was sometimes funny and unexpected, which only improved associative memorization. It seems my experiment was a success! These initial experimental cards have been added to the app. English-speaking users learning Spanish can look forward to 58 cards with the most commonly used words. In the future, if needed, I'll add the option for every user to upload their images, but for now, try using what's already available in the app. Be sure to share your impressions and results in memorizing new words! Write about which foreign languages you are learning and what vocabulary you want to learn with Memorizer. I will definitely consider your wishes and generate new cards based on your requests for the languages you're studying. I hope Memorizer becomes your faithful assistant, reminding you to repeat words at the most suitable time for effective memorization. The most convenient aspect is that Memorizer is always at hand - on your smartphone! Honestly, I can't wait to hear your opinion!
