Memoido is the 2026 "Universal Ingestor" for students. Unlike legacy tools limited to PDFs, we bridge the gap between every medium and memory. Instantly convert YouTube, Audio, Wikipedia, PDFs, and raw text into high-fidelity decks. Our standout feature is a "Zero-Friction" AI engine that eliminates manual card creation entirely. With built-in Spaced Repetition and a polished PWA, Memoido is a self-contained ecosystem designed for speed, accuracy, and total study freedom.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Memoido because I was tired of the 'Creation Gap.' Like most of you, I spent years drowning in 40+ Wikipedia tabs, 2-hour YouTube lectures, and 50-page PDFs. I realized I was spending 80% of my time making flashcards and only 20% actually studying them. In 2026, with the AI tools we have, that felt like a massive waste of human potential.
I wanted a 'Universal Ingestor'—a single place where I could drop any source of knowledge and have a high-fidelity study deck ready in seconds.
What’s inside Memoido:
YouTube to Deck: Paste a link, get cards for every key concept.
The Neural Forge: A multi-modal engine for PDFs, Audio, and Web.
Exam Simulator: Test your retention before the actual test hits.
As a solo founder, I’m building this for the students and lifelong learners who refuse to let knowledge slide away.
🎁 Launch Day Deal: To celebrate the PH community, I’ve set up a -$3 Founder's Deal (use code PHMEMD at checkout).
I'll be here all day (and night) answering every single question. What’s the one feature you wish your current study tool had? Let me know below! 👇
Memoido's "Universal Ingestor" concept is brilliant - turning YouTube, PDFs, and audio into ready-to-study decks finally closes the creation-vs-retention gap students face. The SM-2 spaced repetition backbone and zero-friction AI generation show thoughtful alignment with cognitive science. For next steps, adding collaborative deck-sharing with version control would help study groups and classrooms scale. Lightweight LMS integrations (Canvas, Moodle) could auto-ingest lecture materials for institutional adoption. An "exam mode" with timed, randomized quizzes mimicking real test conditions would boost practical readiness. Also, offline sync for decks and progress tracking would be essential for learners with intermittent connectivity. Strong solo-founder execution - this could become the default study layer for the AI era.
@carter_tan Thank you for the thoughtful and detailed analysis. It is rare to get feedback that so precisely identifies the 'creation-vs-retention gap'—the core problem Memoido was built to solve.
To clarify a point on the roadmap: the Exam Mode you suggested is actually already a live feature. Users can currently generate timed, AI-powered assessments based on their selected study decks to bridge the gap between passive review and active performance.
Your points regarding LMS integrations and collaborative version control are perfectly aligned with my vision for institutional scaling. I am currently prioritizing these features to better support study groups and formal classrooms.
I appreciate the technical validation and the roadmap suggestions. It is an exciting time to be building in this space.
