Hi Product Hunt! I'm Sudhi, and I built Melo.
I wanted to listen to radio in Malayalam, Tamil and the other languages I grew up with, and kept running into directories full of dead links, ads and sign-up walls. So Melo is the opposite: open themelo.in in any browser and press play, or use the iPhone app, which also runs on iPad, Apple Watch (standalone, no phone needed), Apple TV and CarPlay, with widgets and a Live Activity.

• Favourites, recents, a sleep timer and an alarm
• No ads, no account. Melo doesn't host or rebroadcast audio: your device connects straight to each broadcaster.
Keeping the catalogue honest is most of the work. Every stream is checked by actually reading its audio, not just getting an HTTP 200; stations that go dark are hidden until they come back, under the same id so your favourites survive.
