Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Duc, and I built Meeting Minutes on my own.
I spend most of my week on calls and kept losing track of who agreed to what. The AI note-takers I tried either sent a bot into the call or uploaded everything to their cloud, and I didn't want either.
So I built a Windows app that just listens to your PC. It records your mic and system audio, so it works with Zoom, Teams, Meet or anything else, and no bot joins the call. When the call ends you get a transcript, a summary and action items. Every point in the summary links back to the moment it was said, and you can click it to hear it. You can also ask questions about a meeting. When the transcript doesn't support an answer, it says so instead of guessing.
The hardest part was speed. My first version ran Whisper fully on-device and took about 30 minutes to transcribe a 16-minute call on my laptop. A GPU build and a faster model fixed that on decent hardware, but not on every laptop. So you can now plug in your own free Groq key for transcription, and Ollama, Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic for summaries. I didn't want to ship a shared API key or run servers that see your audio. Your meetings stay as plain files in your Documents folder.
It's free, Windows 11 only for now, and the installer isn't signed yet (there's a checksum on the site to verify it).
I'd love your feedback, especially on what breaks on your setup.
Thanks for taking a look!
