I'm Alex, the solo founder behind MatchPulse — and yes, timing this launch with the World Cup was very much intentional.
The problem I kept hitting: every football stats site I used showed raw historical percentages with no way to know if they were trustworthy. "This team scores Over 2.5 in 68% of games" — but which games? Home or away? This season or all-time? And is 68% even meaningful at 1.60 odds?
What I built: a platform that runs 5 statistical models per fixture (Poisson, Dixon-Coles, Elo, weighted historical rate, ensemble) across 1.47M matches, then calibrates every output against Betfair's historical exchange data — 100k+ real outcomes per market.
The feature that surprised me most: the live goal alerts. After 606 tracked and verified alerts:
🔥 GOAL ALERT: 75.3% hit rate
⚡ GOAL LIKELY: 68.1% hit rate
👁️ GOAL WATCH: 72.0% hit rate
Break-even for in-play "next goal" betting on Betfair is ~62-65%. The top tier is above that. The full history is public — every alert, score at alert time, final result — you can audit it yourself at matchpulsestats.com/en/alerts.
What's live today:
→ 27 betting markets with Betfair calibration tables
→ World Cup 2026 hub with Elo predictions for all 48 teams
→ Live alerts covering 40+ leagues
→ 6 languages (EN, PT, ES, FR, IT, DE)
→ Free tier + Pro with 14-day trial
What I'd love feedback on: is the calibration concept clear to non-technical users? What would make you trust a prediction? Thanks for checking it out — happy to answer anything.
