Hi Product Hunt, I’m Kelly, founder of Married, Not Broke.
I built this because I kept seeing a mismatch in wedding planning tools. A lot of the industry talks about the “average” $34k+ wedding, but the couples I’m building for those in the actual middle of the market, the half of U.S. weddings that cost $18K or less.
The major tools are based on inspiration, vendor directories, and percentage-based budget advice that breaks quickly when the actual budget is $5K, $12K, or $18K.
Married, Not Broke helps couples build a budget-first wedding plan from real choices, not generic percentages. It includes trade-off planning, quote tracking, guest and RSVP tools, and Wedding Muse, a custom GPT trained on my planning philosophy they access thru the app with detailed prompt hand offs.
My background is in wedding coordination, so I’ve seen how quickly couples get blindsided by minimum spends, service charges, guest-count math, and “free” options that are not really free. This started as research, turned into a very elaborate spreadsheet, then a book, and now the app.
Looking forward to feedback!
