The Problem:

Drag shapes look for shapes think about what these icons mean, waste time thinking and less time doing, trying to do everything with no focus.
The solution:
A company 100% focused on just this issue, not a byproduct of an already large corp. We are a 3 person team, an app design & dev studio, a startup that has had this very issue and is trying to solve it for themselves and hopefully for others out in the open. Believe me this is just the mvp and nebo, lucid, omni, visio, balsamiq...and everyone else on the market is not our true competitor although we will actively compete the issue we were trying to solve and are still solving is no one has beaten pen and paper yet and we want to be the first. Pen and paper doesn't bog you down with features you didn't ask for, with an onboarding that is confusing and hard to jump in and get started, you just start scribbling no delay.
This is our real hard to beat competitor!
Get ready because you've never experienced creating diagrams and flowcharts while collaborating in realtime ( and a host of other things ) in the way Mark is going to deliver. Stick around.
To all the "but X is free", maybe this app can dive deeper into Y feature? (i.e. flowcharting) Looking for a best of breed in this category, if so $10 is a steal

Not to pile on w/ the Nebo folks, as I need a flowchart app, but not a note-taking app, BUT:
Kinda bad that Mark appears to be using Nebo's screenshot in its App Store listing :-/

For someone who makes a disgusting amount of flow charts, this type of product is a life saver. However, with a $10 price tag, I think it might be a bit difficult to monetize with the average consumer.
Product is great however, and I think the simple interface makes this a delight to use.

Nice to see MyScript's technology being upvoted on PH! I'm the product manager for the Diagram product, which turns scribbles into interactive diagrams thanks to machine learning.
The whole idea is to enable people to create sketches on tablets, 2-in-1s or interactive displays as easily as they would on paper, much more productively than having to choose from a shape library, switch to the keyboard, choose another shape, try to connect them... you get the point.
We've been developing it for 3 years now and use it both in our app Nebo (that some of you mentioned, thanks! http://myscript.com/nebo/) and offer it to 3rd party developers like @nicolassheriff for integration into their apps (https://developer.myscript.com/).
