Most travel apps stop at "been to that country." Mapsprink goes deeper: check in a country, then its states/provinces, and in 27 countries all the way down to individual districts. Earn medals, collect stickers, locate yourself, works fully offline, and backs up to your own Google Drive — no account, your data stays yours.

How does the offline detection actually work — do I have to preload each country's map manually, or does it figure it out from my movement in the background?
@aseloklu66271 No manual preloading — all the map data ships inside the app, so it works fully offline from the first launch. And it doesn't track you in the background: location is optional and foreground-only. When you tap "Locate," it takes a single coarse GPS fix to work out which region you're in and marks it — otherwise you just tap regions yourself. Kept it that way on purpose for privacy.
Been using something like this for years and the Google Drive backup is a really nice touch. One idea: add a "suggest next goal" feature that picks a nearby state or district you haven't visited yet, based on your current location or recent check-ins. Would make planning road trips way more addictive.
@demethdpf Thanks — and that's a genuinely good one. A "suggest next goal" that points you to a nearby unvisited state or district based on where you are would fit the collector loop really well. Writing it down.
The district-level check-ins are a really cool twist for someone like me who loves geeking out over detailed maps. Offline mode working without an account was a nice surprise too.
@cemregzelat4rl Appreciate it. The district-level detail is exactly the rabbit hole this was built for, and no-account offline was a deliberate call — glad it landed.
