Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Fabri, a software engineer from Argentina, and I built Maná as a personal project to put technology at the service of something much more important to me: faith. The idea started with a simple frustration. I wanted an easy and modern way to read the Catholic Gospel of the day and access the Bible, but many of the tools I found felt fragmented, difficult to use, or visually outdated. So I started building Maná. What began as a small Daily Gospel app has gradually become a much broader Catholic companion for everyday life. Today Maná includes: 📖 Daily Gospel and Mass readings 📚 A complete Catholic Bible, available offline 🙏 Guided Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Angelus and novenas 🕊 Lectio Divina for praying with Scripture 🌱 Personalized spiritual plans ✝️ Examination of conscience 📜 Catechism, Compendium and encyclicals ❤️ Prayer intentions shared with the community 🔖 Bible collections, reading plans and personal notes 👨‍👩‍👧 Activities for families and children There are also small contextual touches throughout the app. For example, Maná can suggest a prayer depending on the time of day, recommend Scripture based on how you’re feeling, and adapt parts of the experience to your spiritual goals. The app is completely free, requires no registration for its core experience, works on the web and as an installable app, and is available in both Spanish and English. I’ve tried to build Maná with a very clear principle: technology should stay in the background and help people focus on what really matters. It is not intended to replace parish life, the sacraments, spiritual direction or the guidance of the Church. It is simply meant to be a small companion for prayer, Scripture and Catholic formation in everyday life. I’d really love feedback from the Product Hunt community — especially around the onboarding, usability and how understandable the product feels to someone discovering Maná for the first time.
