Hi Daniel, nice tool. I was just testing it to publish a short review about it when I run into this little bug. If I go to edit my profile and to add a background image, when I save the system tells me that my username is already taken (but the username was already there, I didn't add or changed it). In the end I cannot really edit the profile, because of this error that keeps coming up when I save changes. Would you give a look to it? Many thanks

@tribefire @userlastname Hi Daniel, here's what happens: https://share.vidyard.com/watch/...? Now I have tried with a different browser (Firefox) and I did not encounter the same problem. (Before I was using Chrome). Is this useful?

@tribefire @userlastname Another little thing I have discovered is that, when you want to replace an existing social image in the profile, you have no way of deleting the existing one and as soon as you uploas a new one, you will see (in the profile editor) both of them! Once you save and the page reloads then only the latest one shows up.

Hi all 👋 I've been spending a lot of time in the last few months updating my portfolio, in the hunt for freelance jobs. I found this particularly frustrating for a couple of reasons: - it takes so much time to maintain your portfolio; between screenshotting & designing product images and handling the portfolio design/build itself - this is particularly hard when you are a product builder, and you regularly update your landing pages/UI (as opposed to a graphic designer, where assets are complete) This got me curious and I quickly put together Makerwing, which is able to generate and update a portfolio by simply entering project URLs. Eventually I hope to add more features, particularly the ability to upload your own images for each project page. I also want to allow people to add custom domains and get rid of Makerwing branding. But for now, I hope y'all enjoy the ability to super quickly spin up a beautiful maker portfolio!

It would be cool if the website screenshot frames were mockups of actual devices (so a laptop for the desktop version and a smartphone for the mobile version). I love the idea for such a simple website, but the way the screenshots are presented is not super appealing.

@anna_0x Hi Anna! I really appreciate that feedback. Definitely something I've thought about too, and have sorted fluttered in between more realistic devices and more minimalistic frames. Maybe eventually people can pick a frame?
