Whether you are a developer making apps, looking for a business idea, or you're not sure what steps you should take to launch your product this book can help you.
Hello All
Thank you Arun for listing Makers and Developers on Product Hunt.
I'm very honored to be hunted and am excited to get feedback from the community.
I am writing this book because as I spoke to developers and entrepreneurs as I participated in a startup accelerator and several dev/business hackathons, we all seemed to be struggling to find the same answers.
All of us were on this journey along the learning curve between what we knew and what we thought we needed to know to start our businesses or projects.
It was a tremendous help to speak to many people in the same journey and share different viewpoints, philosophies and lessons, and debate which pieces best fit together.
It's been an experience filled with trial and error with lessons learned the hard way. My journey has been fun, but it has also been long and far too often inefficient. There have been lots of false starts, wrong assumptions and uncertainty about next steps.
This book is a digest of the experiences and resources I've gathered along, meant to be a guide for people starting their journey from a similar viewpoint as many other developers and entrepreneurs.
My hope is to help developers and entrepreneurs by not just providing information they need, but to understand where they are coming from, why they think the things they think and understand the information they are missing. My goal is to bridge that learning gap faster by speaking to people who relate all to well to the experiences I and other entrepreneurs have faced.
There is a wealth of information out there to help us now, and that's awesome, but we still need some means to know what information is important to us now, later, and how to begin.
Community support is incredibly value and I welcome you feedback.
It's a journey that almost everyone I've spoken to who is starting out seems to share, and I would love to hear your stories and feedback on subjects and lessons you think are important. If you've been down that road, what information do you wish you had sooner.
