So many cool events I discover, want to attend, get busy and then forget about them or remember and it’s way too late. Love the remind me feature via text and add to calendar both with clickable links so I don’t forget.

Good stuff! When I'm not working, my stuck-at-home life (which is sometimes excruciatingly boring) is 90% reading on Readup. I've been thinking that I need to spice things up and this looks fun. Regardless, it's hard to feel human while staring at the black mirror, but if it's an "event" (meaning: interactive, ephemeral and COOL) that makes a huge difference.

Hey everybody! While the world has been hunkered down, you might have noticed all of the amazing things that have moved online - intimate bedroom concerts from major artists, zoom dance parties, studio tours with reclusive creatives, cooking classes with Michelin-starred chefs, etc. The problem was - our social ecosystems are disjointed. I was personally missing so many of these livestreams and even worse, seeing them then forgetting to tune it. I quickly moved to solve the problem, creating a public Google Calendar (that you can still see here bit.ly/homeschool_events) and scouring the web for the most exciting events I was coming across in music, fashion, art, and wellness. I shared out the calendar and quickly grew to over 300 subscribers. So it was time to level up. We made this site to improve discovering these events and remembering them, while making sure that it maintains the ease of use of a google calendar. Quickly browse through the roster of events today, then sign up for text notifications from events of interest or sync them up to your personal calendar. Mainstream is so useful for helping me discover cool events I never would’ve known about otherwise. And I love getting text reminders- I was missing so much stuff I wanted to tune into!
