It is not always easy to know whether it is safe to open an email attachment or whether a virus is hiding inside. Therefore Mailthreat was created. You simply forward the suspicious e-mail, we do a number of checks to the the attached files. Once done, you recieve a reply with the result, whether the files are safe to open or not. Congrats on the launch Julian! Mailthreat sounds like a super useful service for protecting against email threats. I love how easy you've made it to check suspicious attachments - just forward the email and get a safety report back. I'll definitely give it a try next time a sketchy looking email hits my inbox. One thought - have you considered offering an API so email services could integrate Mailthreat's scanning directly? Could be a great enterprise play. @danieltaylorr Thanks for your feedback Daniel! A API for the service is definitly a great idea. The usp of mailthreat is the simplicity of the service. So even non-technical persons can use the service. But will definitly look into providing a api endpoint!
