Hi Product Hunt — I'm Aman, and I built Madriss because every budgeting app I tried in Saudi Arabia missed the card I actually pay with. Wallet-based trackers only see Apple Pay. But most of what I spend goes through mada, online checkouts and subscriptions — and the only trace those leave is the SMS my bank sends me. So Madriss reads that. Not by connecting to your bank: a one-time automation you create in Apple's Shortcuts app passes the alert to Madriss on your own phone, where the amount, merchant and card are picked out. No credentials, nothing uploaded, and OTPs and personal texts are ignored because the automation never matches them. Everything after that is what a budgeting app should do quietly: budgets that warn before the limit, a month breakdown you can tap through, and — new in 2.1 — Household, a shared feed for couples, because in most homes the bank texts one phone and the budget lives on the other. It's Arabic-first, free, and has no trackers or ads. Android is in development.
