MacroArk tracks food, weight and activity, then uses your trend data to show whether your calorie target is working. See weekly adjustments, training/rest-day targets and the reasoning behind every change — with a public demo, no account required.

Hi Product Hunt! I’m Hitesh, the maker of MacroArk 👋
I started building MacroArk because I felt most food tracking apps do a decent job of telling you what you ate, but they don’t always help you understand what to actually do with that information.
I wanted something that connects daily food logging with your weight and nutrition trends, and also explains why your calorie or macro targets may need to change over time.
Right now you can use MacroArk to log meals and macros, track your history, look at nutrition/weight trends, and use coaching that adjusts targets between training and rest days. There’s also optional AI-assisted meal estimation, but normal food logging works without AI.
MacroArk is currently in public beta and the basic experience is free.
One of the reasons I wanted to build it this way is that a lot of the existing products in this space have become fairly expensive, especially if you mainly want solid tracking and useful insights. I do plan to add more advanced features later, but I want the core tracking experience to remain free.
There’s also a sample-data demo, so you can explore the product without creating an account:

A few things I’m currently working on / thinking about:
iOS and Android apps
a much more comprehensive food library
faster logging through messaging/chat-style interfaces
photo-based food logging
Photo logging is one I’m still figuring out properly. It’s relatively expensive to provide on a free tier because of the extra compute / model calls involved, so I’d rather build it in a way that is reliable and actually sustainable instead of rushing it.
Would genuinely love feedback on two things:
Does the coaching explanation make sense?
And what would make daily food logging easier or faster for you?
