Very cool! It Open to a new concept of Social Network where the social (or his assistent "M") help users.
The plus is the AI's support from a very large community..only this concept it's a big ? for the future ...for now is SWAG!
My opinion when I seen this news is to create a new collection on PH called "New Frontiers": http://www.producthunt.com/@jaco...

I want to try M but it says "M isn't currently available in your area". Is there a way for me to try it anyway? I am located in France, I was thinking of changing my area to US.
Thanks guys

This adds a lot of single user value to Messenger. I wonder if that's one of the reasons they decided to build this.
This is quite awesome. Especially the Wired article about how it works. Really amazing......so what do I have to do to get on the extra special super exclusive VIP list that gets to try it out ;)
FWIW, and pardon the self-promotion, if you're interested in Facebook M and will be attending SXSW, we'd love an upvote on the panel we proposed for Conversational UI http://panelpicker.sxsw.com/vote...

You should check your "GET IT" button link- it is not working. I get: "Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed." :)
As a maker, rooting for moves like this by FB are a bit of a double edge sword. They're great because it helps turn the concept of AI from a scary unknown to something relatable to consumers. A step further, the progress derived from M's roll out could open the doorway for others to push the boundaries even further. But, the move is also a bit worrisome because - if accepted - it means FB will just dominate the market and building interesting things in the conversational UX/consumer AI space gets a whole lot trickier. You either have to build for FB's Messenger platform, or take lengths to differentiate yourself from FB, and there's not much security in either path. Either way, technological progress is the ultimate goal, and I'm definitely excited to try M out and see how the early majority finds it!
@savvy_suarez agree, would love to see a much more open - Telegram-like - platform for this.
But I also agree with @metthewberman that FB doesn't have the greatest platform reputation. Oh the painful days of crazy FB platform updates when building social games at Playfish! :)
So, more open + play nice with the platform ecosystem.
