Watching my dad struggle to manage a close friend's estate after their passing was a turning point. It wasn't just the grief—it was the mountain of paperwork, the financial chaos, and the feeling of being utterly lost. That's the moment Lyfeguard's mission became crystal clear. We're not just another fintech startup. We're building an all-in-one life management platform that brings order to the chaos for individuals and empowers financial advisers to better serve their clients. Think of us as your digital vault, your personal assistant, and your peace of mind, all rolled into one. With Lyfeguard, individuals can organise important documents, track finances, and plan their legacy—all in one secure place. For advisers, it means streamlined client onboarding, enhanced collaboration, and deeper insights to deliver personalised financial advice. Lyfeguard is about empowering you to take charge of your financial well-being, so you can live with confidence and peace of mind, knowing your present and future are secure. No more stress, no more confusion—just a clear path to a life well-lived and a legacy well-planned.

congrats on the launch, the personal inspiration behind lyfeguard really resonates. your platform addresses a crucial area of personal finance management. i'm curious, how does lyfeguard handle different financial regulations across countries, especially concerning legacy planning and document storage?
Fraser Stewart
hey @mashy - thank you, I really appreciate this! Great question. We're currently UK-focussed and as such, FCA-regulated. This isn't to say we're not looking to expand in the future, but clearly we have to be mindful of the different regulation and processes in place within each country, and ensure that our platform's functionality is adapted for this. In terms of financial regulation specifically, the FCA's policies are underpinned by international standards. However, we'd have to abide by the local (country) regulation in each case to ensure we were compliant and protecting our customers.
