Finwings is deployed directly on Google Cloud Run, hosting the web app and backend API together in a container. The backend supports cash-flow calculations, business scenarios and learning journeys, with Google ADK and Gemini providing AI explanations and tailored learning. Cloud Run provides the public HTTPS endpoint for our working prototype, which visitors can explore using fictional demo profiles.

Hi Product Hunt, I’m Rajan, the maker of Finwings. Finwings is a financial-wellbeing companion for people and small businesses in Australia. It starts with a practical question: when life changes, can you see what it could mean for your money early enough to explore your options? Think fewer shifts, rent due before payday, a surprise bill, or customers paying after wages fall due. The prototype looks ahead at cash flow and presents the picture in plain language. The broader product we’re building brings together four connected areas: Planning through a change, such as moving out or a job ending. Small-business cash planning and checks when a supplier’s payment details change. Guided practice for first payslips, everyday money decisions and financial independence. Know-your-customer workflows where agents provide reasons and a person makes the decision. On the hosted demo, Gemini helps interpret Alex’s reduced-shifts situation and tailors Jess’s learning journey from reviewed sources. Maya’s business view lets you compare a two-week customer-payment delay. The calculation engine works out the figures; forecasts and scenarios still depend on their assumptions. This launch is an early prototype on Google Cloud Run. Start with Alex’s household plan, Maya’s cash-flow scenario or Jess’s first-job journey and payslip practice. Other parts of the broader product are still being developed and checked. All demo people, businesses and financial data are fictional. Please do not enter real financial or identity information. When income changes, what should an AI financial companion explain first?

A smaller payslip or a late customer payment can suddenly change someone s priorities. We re building Finwings to help people understand what those changes could mean for their money.

Our Cloud Run prototype explores three fictional situations:

Alex s work shifts have been reduced
Maya s business is waiting on customer payments
Jess is learning to understand her first payslip

We keep cash-flow calculations separate from Gemini s explanations. The goal is to make the numbers understandable, with learning activities that help users build confidence.
