lvlup is a fun and efficient habit trainer which uses innovative methods, gamification and self-reflection tools to systematically help you build life-changing habits and get you closer to your goals.
Hey Product Hunt,
I've tried multiple habit-tracking apps in the past, with different interfaces and features but they all ultimately failed to keep me motivated and consistent with the completion of my habits. So, I've decided to make my own.
I am super excited to share lvlup with you! Yet another habit tracker. Or not?
lvlup is a fun and efficient habit trainer which uses innovative science-based methods and gamification to systematically help you build life-changing habits and get you closer to your goals. It follows a gradual habit-building process accompanied by self-reflection tools and personalised habit-specific reminders to keep you motivated along the way.
Main concepts:
- Start with a habit so easy you can’t say ‘no’ to it and then slowly build up. Along the way, your willpower and motivation will increase, making it easier to stick to your habit for good.
- If you are struggling with a habit, split it into smaller sessions to make it easier to accomplish and maintain momentum.
- Journal and reflect on your past progress and mood to keep yourself motivated and figure out why you are crushing some habits, and struggling with others.
- Complete your habits consistently and unlock new achievements, titles, avatars and more fun rewards.
I am looking forward to getting your feedback on lvlup!
Thanks,
Erol

@erollasan This loooks cool. Do you have a web app?
I love the idea of apps like this, but I find that I often download them and use for a few days but then forget to. Any recommendations for that? Excited to give this one a try, but worried it will fizzlea after a few days.
@britt_joiner Thanks Britt! The main reason for that is probably because the habit is too hard/big or the incentive/reward from completing it is too small or non-existent. Give lvlup a try, I think the gamification system combined with the habit reminders and journal will keep you on for longer. But at the end of the day, it's just a tool to help and guide you, it cannot force you to do things you don't want to.
Congrats on the launch @erollasan - it looks great and is something I'd be keen to try! Any thoughts on how you plan to motivate people to fill out the journal section? I always tend to skip past these sections in apps
@angela_dickinson Thanks! Journaling is tied to the gamification of the app, the more you journal the more rewards you will unlock. And journaling unlocks a detailed statistics on your daily progress, which you wouldn't get if you didn't use the journal feature.
@erollasan i like the sound of that, will check it out!

Can it help me thinking about my ex :) ? . Jokes apart - You UI/UX is nice i can track my daily task with it and i guess it worth to try your product. All the best
It looks amazing, I really like the design!
I'd love for it to have some social feature as I'm currently tracking a habit using a Google Sheets document with a friend so we can know which one is "winning". It is a little competitive but at the same time, I feel I need to know other peers are doing the same habit to motivate myself.
@jcbages Thanks! I do have planned social features to add to the app in the future and that includes a competition with your friends. Social responsibility plays a key role in habit forming, so it's definitely something I look forward to seeing in the app.

Hi @erollasan,
Congrats with your new product!
It's looking simple and colorful to encourage people to start proceeding their habits.
I had same problem in the past and I was also struggling to complete each step daily to reach my goals. Then I realized that the missing part is "visualization" of my goal. Do you think it'd be useful to add a visual part by user ( they can draw something quickly ) just to encourage them everyday when they see it.
Please let me know what do you think about it.
Good luck on your path!
Kolay gelsin :)
