Our experiences have so many nuances to them, and there is no way that these all can be represented on a single sheet of paper. We were tired of seeing talented people getting looked over solely because their wording was slightly off, or an algorithm misrepresented them when applying for a job. Finding talent is such a human process naturally, but the way that it exists in the modern era has stripped it of basically all of its humanity. We believe that the process of hiring would benefit greatly from a return back to holistic, human connection, and Lumeir is the interface that can bring us there. By focusing on conversation, job seekers can represent the intricate details of their trade and skills in the way that let's all of the details be seen. Our hope with this launch is to understand how we can further this mission of hiring in a more human way.
