Hi Product Hunt! I’m Philippe, the creator and maintainer of LUFScale. LUFScale is a free, open-source desktop app for macOS and Windows that analyzes perceived loudness and normalizes audio to a chosen LUFS target with True Peak control. It supports MP3, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, M4A, OGG and Opus, offers before-and-after comparison, ReplayGain metadata and CSV reports, and never modifies or moves the original files.

LUFScale is a free and open-source desktop application for macOS and Windows that analyzes and normalizes perceived audio loudness using LUFS and True Peak. It can analyze files without changing them, normalize audio to a chosen target, or write ReplayGain metadata. It supports MP3, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, M4A, OGG and Opus, with before-and-after comparison, CSV reports and interrupted-job recovery. Original files are never moved or modified, and the source code is available on GitHub under GPL-3.0-or-later.
