I wonder if Instagram will penalize its users, too. After-all it's against the ToS.

I don't understand these "followers-for-nothing" hacks. What's the ROI other than the faux-clout? Is it worth it? Someone should experiment with a social network where whenever you follow someone, the someone automatically follows you and vice versa. Makes sense that the followee would like to get an understanding of their follower base--just filter the follower feed separately.
