Seeing the native Loom for Mac come together has been a treat. It's faster, lighter and rock solid. Record for agents is my new favourite way to report bugs: point, talk, and hand it to Claude or Rovo. No more walls of text. Excited to see it live!

Congratulations team! I can't live without this feature. I can visually walk through what I want to build and ramble on - like show and tell for my agent of choice. Then I can get to a high quality build or prototype in a fraction of the time. Can't wait to see feedback and all the different uses people can dream up!
Most of us all are familiar with base Loom and its ease of use and just in time recording. The new desktop app feels much more modern and easy to use and the AI transcription, chapters/highlights and prompt generation features are a game changer! I record looms regularly to communicate and walk through changes in complicated PRs to make it easier for my teammates to review, understand and verify the results in a short amount of time.
I chatted into Loom about my work, showed it some slide examples, said what I disliked about something on screen and then used the MCP to send it all to Claude Design — got a really solid complex marketecture diagram back on the first try. Went from an idea to a technical, on brand slide in ten minutes. Huge time saver and fun to talk to myself. Thanks Loom team!

We launched the new Loom app for macOS. It's fully native, and it's slick. Whether you are an existing user or trying us for the first time you would love it. 
The part I'm quite excited about is the new Record for Agents mode. Instead of writing a long prompt, you just show your agent what you want and talk it through.
I use it every day:
for Prototyping - I show the agent exactly what I want, down to the pixel.
updating Product docs - I walk it through the sources I want reviewed, and it writes the doc.
curating my Backlog - I talk through ideas, bugs, and things that inspire me while showing them on screen, and it turns them into backlog items in bulk.
