I started using Raycast around 3 months ago. It now serves as my general software interface for macOS. My productivity gains have been considerable. - Saved time: I'd estimate Raycast saves me at least 30 mins per day by accelerating hundreds of my small interactions (combined with the custom scripts that I've written, which Raycast calls). - Extra functionality: Raycast's AI provides extra functionality. It is my mode way to communicate with LLMs. I send 10s of request per day, which I activate with a shortcut. While very good, Raycast AI could be improved. I'd like Raycast to allow the user to specify which model the AI can use with more control (e.g., allow the user to specify the AI endpoint, so allowing the user to use the latest model as soon as the model is released). In short, Raycast is superb. I recommend Raycast to anyone with a macOS do wants to do more in less time.

A fast, expressive tool for MacOS. I find PP superb at handling any Bitmap visual editing task. Great that Apple has just acquired PP. I expect the product to continue to improve.

Cursor allows you to write code faster, letting you express ideas more expressively and creatively as a result. A great tool.

Enjoyable to use, allowing you to record and share videos quickly. Some negatives for Loom to improve (as of 4 Nov 2024): - Not 4k by default - No ability to download the separate parts of a recording. E.g., the main webcam video, the screen video. This makes Loom less flexible for people recording videos to edit. - Automatically sets my video quality to a lower resolution (despite a 4k screen) - Online editing can be slow and cumbersome

I often use this when producing my videos. Slick UI, great output, and fast customer service. Example, I suggested some changes to David and he released the updates in the next release. Recommended.

Great UX. Fast to use as a developer. A great product.

I received 5 emails from DoMore asking me to comment on ProductHunt today, including several subsequent reminders that there were only X hours left to comment on ProductHunt. I saw no unsubscribe button on any of the emails. Regardless of the product's content, this is not a satisfying way to promote it.
