Hey everyone! 👋 I'm Jun, the creator of Locter. Locter starts with a simple idea: I wanted a way to automatically capture and remember where I've been each day—the places I visited, the workouts I did, the photos I took—but without sending my location data to some company's servers. The problem we're solving: Most location apps either track you for monetization purposes or require complex setup and manual logging. Locter takes a different approach: it runs silently in the background, records everything locally on your device, and lets you relive your day through a clean timeline. No accounts, no servers, no compromise on privacy. How the process evolved: Initially, I focused on just location tracking, but as I built it, I realized people also wanted to see their workouts too, understand where photos were taken, and export their data for personal analysis.
