@dudehere Hey Steffen ... thank you :) I remember being shocked at the price of some of the 'professional' studios, especially when you add the cost of plugins ... then having to keep them upgraded, technically and financially. I also find them incredibly complex. We created the Composer to enable you to focus on the end result, which is your song, instead of having to worry about installations, plugins, upgrades, sample libraries, etc. I generate a lot of my ideas, including drum loops, melodies,... on my iPad. Pretty much sat around anywhere ... and found it frustrating translating those ideas back into the main studio. With the Composer, you can use the same studio anywhere. But, unlike other online DAWs, all your files stay local. The Composer uses a pattern-based approach, which means you generate melodies using synths, samplers, instruments, ... drum loops using the drum machine and audio slices using the slicer. You can then layer these ideas into compositions ... a bit like mixing like a DJ ( I used to be one :) ) ... this is very different to your popular DAWs. We also encounter so many producers that create amazing loops, but then get frustrated about where to go from there. The Composer is a bit of a finisher ... you will find intelligent Sonic Wizards dotted around the studio to help you generate drum loops, melodies and even complete song structures from your ideas ... designed to inspire you. We also like to jam ... the Composer has a range of recorders that you can use to jam out your ideas and then slice, arrange and shape them into songs.
